GTA 4 How to made lights working on your mappmod [Tutorial]

Hello every one/visitor !

Today i finally find how to export mapmod with lights working and before i lose all the way i do it then i made a little tutorial because i guess it will help me for my futur work and i hope it can help you at the same time !!
Ok lets start !

1 Create a model ... then go to the tab, select standart lights.
And chose witch light you want use....
(Omni= style of light that you can find at the entry of a building)
(Free Spot= Style of light that you can find on a roadway aka lamp post)
For this tutorial i'm using Free Spot but it's the same way to do it even if you use Omni light, until you change the settings of the light !

2 Once you've placed all the light where you want on your mapmod,
than you have to open the window hierarchy Garph Editors-> New schematic View.

3 Once you already export your IDE/WPL map model then you can set all "Free Spot/Omni" for exporting in OpenFormats.
Then once you enter the name of map that you want into "File name case" then you have to select all the light+map and click assign.
(you didn't see it in the screenshot but once you select all the lights+map from the hierarchy windows then the little box appear in white!)

 Once you attach/assign all the light with your map then you should see something like that into the hierarchy Windows.

later in GIMS go to the tab lights editor,then isolated EACH SEPARATELY OMNI and push SET.
(do it one by one for all the light you have!)

 Then go to open formats-> export ODR/ODD for exporting your work !

There you go you've finish to add lights on your mapmod, then you should seen them work in-game like in these picture:

Warning: this light are the basic one you already can tweak the light in "GIMS lights editor" !!
i use the simple settings for these light but it's the same instruction even if you tweak it with lights editor. hope it help you and do not forget to leave a coments or contact me if you have or if you do not understand something !

Yokohama Docks (Why not)

 Hello everyone, Visitor !

Since i'm a huge fan of the first Race driver Grid game series then i've all the time wondering about why not convert the "Yokohama Docks" to IV. But it's only an idea at the moment since the map have alot of object then i don't know if my pc can handle the map, i try all my best and all the tips i know for convert the map for IV...(It's just a work in progress i cannot tell you that the map will be in IV as 100%)
